What is a hair transplant?
It is a natural and permanent solution that is applied as a result of thinning or completely losing hair in a certain area of the person.
Hair follicles are taken homogeneously with the help of micro punches of 0.8-0.9 mm diameter and micro motor by applying local anesthesia before the two ears and nape area, which we call the donor area.
The reason why the hair follicles between the nape and two ears are used is that the hair in this area is genetically coded not to fall.
The hair taken is kept in a protective liquid by providing hypothermic conditions.
Then, the hair taken is transferred to the required area with diamond tip (sapphire blade) or DHI (direct hair implantation) methods.
OPERATION STAGES
-Determination of the hairline-
Determination of the hairline is one of the most critical points of the operation. It is aimed at the person. It may vary according to the face shape and muscle structure.
For these reasons, it would not be ethical to draw the same line for everyone. Hair transplant specialists draw the hairlines special to the person in conformity with the facial lines.
–Getting the hair ready for surgery—
Before the sterile stages in the surgical procedure begin, the hair is shaved in the fue method. In the DHI method, this situation may vary. After the shaving operation, the areas where the surgical operation will be performed are sterilized.
–Local anesthesia operation—
It is the first stage of the surgical operation. It is applied with painless anesthesia devices called dermojet. The drug is administered under the skin without a needle.
–Hair follicle removal—
It is taken one by one with the help of a micro motor and punch. It is collected and counted with special surgical tools called collecting forceps. The collected grafts are kept in protective fluids.
–Canal opening process—
Depending on the number of grafts taken from the donor area of the person, canals are opened at an angle of 40-45 degrees. At this stage, a classical slit or sapphire tip is used.
–Placement of grafts—
Grafts are placed in the opened channels at an angle of 40-45 degrees without damaging them and precisely.
–Dressing–
It is the process after all grafts are placed in the canals. The donor area is cleaned and then closed using a special ointment (cream) to prevent damage to the donor area in the future.
